The Ohio Department of Development
Announces Grant
Fairborn Performing Arts and Cultural Association in Fairborn will receive $48,000 for asbestos remediation in the historic Fairborn Theatre. The Theatre, which opened in 1947, is located next to Wright-Patterson Air Force Base and has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since 2005. Upon completion of the $5.5 million project, the Fairborn Performing Arts and Cultural Association will be used for dance and music performances, cultural education, business community gatherings, and other public and private events. The project helps create and retain 14 full-time jobs. |

Monthly Meetings and Town Hall Meetings
Fairborn Performing Arts Center monthly board meetings are held the first Thursday of each month.
Please come and bring a friend!!!
Time: 6:30PM
Place : Abiding Christ Lutheran Church - 326 E Dayton Yellow Springs Rd.
Town Hall meetings are held the third Thursday in November at the Abiding Christ Lutheran Church at 7pm.

HELP SAVE A PIECE OF FAIRBORN HISTORY
The Fairborn Performing Arts and Cultural Association (FPACA) is looking for some energetic volunteers to assist with theatre facilities operations and to serve on event fund raising committees. Theatre facilities operations consist of monitoring the building for any structural changes and keeping up with building maintenance. In addition, operations is in charge of changing the marquee and keeping the lawn mowed and parking lot clean. Volunteers who help with fund raising events will be asked to perform a variety of tasks from public relations to preparing food for events.
